Airplanes for Labor Day

We went to the Hill Aerospace Museum up at Hill AFB for Labor Day. We met up with the Sonntags and toured the museum together.

Sometimes it is the simple things, like the quarter-roller-thing, that fascinate the kids. They watched their coins with the greatest of interest.

The kids in front of the WWII information display.

Here we are posing with Melissa...

Brielle is standing under a jet, Lia is showing us the balcony view in front of the planes, and Alec is in front of a stealth (I think) bomber.

Jessica and the kids show us how cool the pilot seat is.

GIRL POWER!! Notice the female mechanics behind us up high working on the planes.

We finished by going back to our house and throwing a potluck with the Sonntags and then having FHE together.

Looks like you had a good time. This is another idea of things to do with the kids.
